The HDD-FSR4™ Series is a
four drive storage enclosure system with RAID 5 or RAID 0 storage
option for storing contents in larger scales. It’s industrially designed
with durable aluminum exterior finish that’s built tough for hard drive
protection of the highest grade and high durability for professional
content creation applications.
A cost effective hardware RAID solution The
HDD-FSR4™ is an all-in-one hardware RAID solution that embeds the Oxford
936QS RAID controller chipset that requires no extra parts. It’s cost
effective because you’ll not need to purchase RAID controller cards in
order to enable the RAID functionality as everything is built in
conveniently for you to easily configure.
RAID 5 for data safety & RAID 0 for high-speed performance HDD-FSR4™
provides two storage options of RAID 5 or RAID 0. With RAID 5, a user
will have the maximum protection of his/her data with allowance for a
single drive failure but yet all data will be kept intact. In the RAID 0
mode, a user will have the benefit of a single massive volume for
storage with high I/O throughput speed with sets of data being striped
across the four enclosed drives.
Triple connectivity for Mac or PC With
high-speed 3G eSATA, FireWire 800 and USB 3.0 triple connectivity, the
HDD-FSR4™ can be used in Mac or PC environments providing great convenience
and flexibility for various applications.
Big storage volume for your creative contents. Up to 12TB. HDD-FSR4™
holds any capacity of SATA hard drives up to 3TB per drive bay. With
all drive bays installing 3TB drives, in RAID 0 mode, the system will
give you a total of 12TB in volume for storage, and under the RAID 5
mode, a total of 9TB in volume for storage with a single drive used for
redundancy.
Secure with confidence, remove with ease Equipped with removable hard
drive trays, installing or removing a drive would be absolutely
hassle-free. There are no extra wires to attach, simply insert the drive
to the designated slot and go! Each drive tray is also equipped with a
locking mechanism to secure the drive into place to keep the drives and
data safe.
